Studies at the Third Youth Economic Forum 2019

 
 
 
 
 
 The Youth Entrepreneurship Association, in strategic partnership with Tamkeen Labor Fund, is organizing the 3rd Youth Economic Forum 2019 on Saturday 30 November.
 
The forum aims to create a dialogue between Bahraini youth and economic decision-makers and spread awareness and culture in the digital economy, and encourage young people to contribute to the national economy in line with the national vision, and discuss the obstacles facing young people and give them the opportunity to participate in the development of appropriate economic solutions, in addition to creating a network of experts Economists, specialists and young people.
 
The forum will include three panel discussions, the first of which will be entitled “Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence, Where to Start?”, With the participation of Amin Al-Tajer, CEO of Infiniteware, Dr. Fatima Al-Subaie, Analyst, Studies and Research Department, Bahrain Center for Strategic and International Studies and Energy, and Nizar Marouf. Assistant General Manager for Business Development and Marketing at BENEFIT, and Mishal Al Helou, President of the Technology and Business Association. The session focuses on the definition of the terms of the digital economy and artificial intelligence and the roles of legislative and executive bodies and the private sector to promote the digital economy and artificial intelligence in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
 
The second session will discuss the “Environment of Invention, Innovation and Scientific Research”, with the participation of Prof. Riyad Hamza, President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sada, Executive Vice President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Raed Shams, Director General of BIPA, and Amina Al Hawaj, Director of Bapco Innovation Center. . The session will discuss the elements of the environment of invention, innovation and scientific research in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the benefits of invention, innovation and scientific research on the national economy, and ways to encourage invention, innovation and scientific research in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
 
The third session will review “Areas of Sustainable Economy”, with the participation of Mr. Jamal Fakhro, KPMG’s partner, Fakhro Bahrain, Dr. Omar Al Obaidli, Director of Studies and Research at the Bahrain Center for Strategic and International Studies and Energy, and Mr. Afif Barhoumi, representative of the United Nations Development Program. . The session will discuss the current situation of the sustainable economy in the Kingdom of Bahrain and its potentials and methods of development to contribute effectively to the national economy.
 
A number of economists and representatives of economic, financial and commercial institutions in the Kingdom will participate in the forum.It will also target university students, entrepreneurs, members of professional associations, decision makers and a group of media professionals, as well as a number of employees in the government and private sector, and a number of activists and interested.
